Winner of the ecopa award at ICT 2022

The winner of the ecopa award at ICT 2022, the XVI International Congress of Toxicology was given to Başlar Muhammet, from the Institute of Technology, Department of Bioengineering in Izmir, Turkey. He presented a poster titled: “Development of novel nanotoxicity assessment method utilizing 3D printing system”.

Even if it is the beginning of the application of 3D technologies to prepare in vitro systems, we believe that this technique represents an important opportunity to increase standardization and easy-to use of advanced 3D models. For this reason, ecopa is pleased to recognize the efforts of young scientists in this sector.
