Non-animal, human-based technologies have developed impressively over the past decade. There is growing evidence that non-animal technologies can improve safety assessment and medical progress.
Still, over 5 million animals are used for scientific purposes in Germany and around 22 million in the European Union.
Several countries worldwide have taken first steps towards phasing out animal testing. As part of their joint campaign “Phase out animal experiments. NOW!”, Doctors Against Animal Experiments and People for Animal Rights – Federal Association of Opponents of Animal Experiments are organizing this informative webinar.
Three brilliant speakers will explain the situation in the USA, the Netherlands, and the European Union, demonstrating options for a successful phase-out strategy.
